So Phuket was the second stop on our trip and we booked a room for 3 nights at the Patong heritage online. Upon arrival you will be blown away by the exterior as it appears very grand and luxurious and this includes the lobby also but here are some pro’s and cons Pro’s 1.Location is a short walk from restaurants and also not far from the beach 2. Friendly staff 3. Hotel has a small gym, a rooftop pool aswell as a ground floor pool 4. Very good breakfast with plenty of seating and food options aswell as freshly made iced coffees and teas Cons 1. Room was very outdated and needs refurbishing , decor was very old and looked like the room hasn’t been touched for about 10 years , bathrooms in poor conditions 2. Bed not very comfortable , very firm mattress 3. You can hear everything in the hall way outside , doors slamming, people talking and shouting and this was happening at 3 in the morning 4. Air con in the room wasn’t working that well , fixed to a temperature which means the room is still too warm at times 5. Ground floor pool isn’t too bad however it is overlooked by flats and not very nice to look at, the 3rd floor pool is dirty , the loungers have bird poo on them and pigeons are constantly using the pool to drink. Overall hotel needs updating inside, the exteriors looks like luxury but once inside the rooms it couldn’t be further from the truth. If it wasn’t for the breakfast I would’ve rated lower.

Perfectly located for shops restaurants bars and the beach was just down the road, definatally worth the stay and would be back again. Foyer was very nice and relaxing. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast was okay, but as said amenities short walk.

Nice stayed for 3 nights, clean room with all facilities, toileteries in bathroom, Balcony, good airconditioning. It has varieties of breakfast including limited seperate vegetarians food. It has 2 swimming pools, ground and 3rd floor however no Towel facilities. Staff is smiling and ready to help when requested for early checkin, good music playing at reception, thanks to guard who helped whenever Pickup came for sightseeing. Location of Hotel is good as its near to Bangla Street and Central Mall so everything walking. would like to visit again.

Seems to be a hotel where a few rooms are ok but others not. We, unfortunately had a tired room which should have been refurbished at least 5 years ago. The aircon was unable to cool the room, on complaining to reception we were sent a maintenance guy who told us that in Thailand the aurcon is never set lower than 22c 🤣 we had set to lowest in an attempt to get it to work! Maintenance guy told us it was fine..... we asked for another room which they eventually agreed to. On arrival at the replacement room, the maintenance guy had set the aircon to 22c and had removed the remote control ! As this aircon was working well, it meant that we then suffered a cold night ! We will not be returning !

We arrived they only had one or two bookings on file running around we got a 3rd floor room with a bad view of a roof. But there is a pool on third floor so this was a bonus sadly not worth using it’s dirty and there are no chairs. Went up the main pool that was open but no towels. View at pool 100% different to pics on line as there are two sides to the pool the un photograph side has local flats over looking the pool. Complained and staff brought us towels from lobby after a big commotion We then went to room not 4 star in any way maybe two lights are minimal room is dark there was not much to room. Bathroom floor painted black (badly) and as it’s not tiles it’s very slippery. Decor on roof is tasteless. Taps in basin are loose. Balcony has one chair ??? This is a fake 4 star it’s old and not worth the money. Interesting they advertise it for 30% of what we paid just outside the door
